Detroit Cornucopia Mosaic

This exterior mosaic was created during the Murals in the Market festival in September of 2017 at 1417 Division St. in Detroit's Eastern Market. The image references one of Geza Maroti's metaphorical relief sculptures that adorn the front entrance of the Fisher Building, one of Detroit's most impressive historic buildings. She holds a cornucopia in one arm, while offering up light/the sun with the other. Materials used include found ceramic, stone, brick, and some extremely rare 100 year old Pewabic Tile.
